PB stands for Pont Brûlé, the site in Vilvoorde, Belgium where the company started its operations in 1880. Since 1964 PB Gelatins is a division of Tessenderlo Group, an international chemicals group which employs around 5200 people in more than 100 branches in 21 countries.

Global Technical Support Engineer Food

(permanent job, Vilvoorde – near Brussels, m/f)


Job description 

   You are the technical link between the global food market, production and R&D and act as the support expert on the complete range of our gelatins, including specialties, in order to fulfill our mission as a worldwide gelatin & hydrolisate solution provider. 

 You are the technical reference in the global PB organization and you are in charge of the technical support to the customers, prospects and agencies. 

 You are also responsible for the technical documentation related to the different applications of our products. 

 You will be located in Belgium; your region of action will be Europe, Asia and the Middle East and You will travel up to 50%. 




 Master’s degree in Chemical, Food, Bio-engineering or Pharmaceuticals or equivalent by experience 

 At least 10 years of successful experience in an international environment 

 Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions 

 Ability to function well within a matrix reporting environment 

 Excellent communication, commercial, interpersonal and intercultural skills 

 English is a must, Dutch, French, German, … are a great asset
